I've reverted my IMac back to its original form do to the El Capitan messed up my recording capabilities, but now my PreSonus Firestudio Project not is being recognized by my IMac. I'm running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 please help..

Wow, that's a HUGE jump backwards. What year model is your iMac? El Capitan has no issues with that audio interface, I run one myself. So any issue with El Capitan was either compatibility with your iMac's year model, or simple settings. Snow Leopard, wow, that's WAY outdated.
So, specifics, what year is your iMac?
